INCLUSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE POSTS IN THE PROPOSAL FOR CREATION OF 6,500 NEW POSTS
Respected Sir,
With due respect it is submitted that, the posts of Assistant Directors (Admn) and Deputy Directors (Admn), may kindly be included in the ongoing proposal for creation of 6,500 new posts in FIA.
It is submitted that administrative officers are essentially required at every Zonal Office, Directorate, and various sections at FIA Headquarters for smooth and efficient administrative functioning. However, no posts pertaining to the Administration Group have been proposed in the current restructuring/creation plan.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the past, certain posts were allocated to the Administration Group; however, due to various reasons, the said posts could not be actualized. Consequently, the posts of Deputy Director (Admn) and other administrative positions are presently being managed by investigation officers. This practice is causing a shortage of investigation officers in operational assignments and adversely affecting investigative efficiency.
In view of the above, it is humbly requested that adequate posts of Assistant Directors (Admn) and Deputy Directors (Admn), may kindly be incorporated in the proposed creation of new posts so that dedicated administrative officers may perform administrative duties while investigation officers remain available for core operational tasks.
